Jim oversees the JWC Management Team and is a former Army captain and helicopter pilot with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He founded Wright Real Estate in 1974 and developed it into the largest residential real estate firm in the Fort Cavazos area. The residential company was sold in 1996 in order to concentrate on Commercial Real Estate. Since then, he has been extensively involved in the marketing, leasing, sales, and management of Commercial Investment Properties in this area. His experience includes market studies and site selection for Aaron Rents, assorted fast food chains and apartment complexes; site selection and building of a $2.5 million dollar bowling center; preliminary planning, financing, leasing, supervision and tenant finish-out and management of over $75 million dollars of office, medical, and retail buildings as well as marketing of a variety of properties for the RTC, FDIC, HUD, VA, and many local lending institutions and private investors. Jim has assisted clients with 1031 exchanges and has the knowledge and expertise to assist with most types of commercial transactions. Kristin Sears – CFO, CPM, Associate Broker®
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Business Admin in Accounting from UT Arlington. She worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young in Fort Worth working with clients such as Justin Industries and Scott & White Hospital. She obtained her Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is currently a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
Craig Brown – Property Manager, REALTOR®
Craig is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and is an honorably discharged Army officer. He moved to the Killeen area in 1975 and since 1986, has owned and actively maintained residential properties. He joined our JWC Management Team in 2014 and has more than 25 years of experience dealing with customer relations and service management and a unique insight to the needs of our owners and tenants.
Dawn Weller – Asst Property Manager, REALTOR®
Dawn came to work for our company in 2009. She is now a Realtor and is an Assistant Property Manager as well as a member of our management team. She oversees the day to day activities for the front leasing coordinators and she also works closely with our Office Manager. Over the years, she has grown with the company and is now very knowledgeable about our departmental operations.
Veronica Sanchez – Office Manager
Veronica joined our team in August of 2023 as our HR/Payroll. Her 10+ years of experience in retail management and customer service brings great leadership skills and business acumen to our company. She actively champions diversity and promotes a culture of trust and integrity. She believes in staying outside of the comfort zone to reach new goals and to strive for greatness. She’s a leader for the people and a valued new asset to our company.
Clayton Hodges – Network Admin, Marketing Manager
Clayton moved to the Belton area in 2004 and later graduated the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He has worked in IT since 2005 and provides daily support for all IT operations. In 2013 he joined our JWC Management Team and has since deployed simple and robust IT solutions for the company with the utmost regard for security and reliability. He has since gotten more involved in decision making for the future of the company.
